Vote to Rename our School at Town Meeting

Congratulations to Dr. Sevelius and the Student Naming Committee for all their efforts in shepherding our school in the renaming process. On November 16, 2023, Brookline's Town Meeting voted in favor of Warrant Article 13 to rename the school. The final vote tally was 208 yes, 4 no, and 23 abstentions.

Brookline Holiday Toy Drive

The Brookline Community Development Corporation (BCDC) is running a holiday toy drive from November 27th - December 11th. To donate:

  1. Purchase a gift for a child between the ages of 0-14.
  2. Drop the unwrapped gift into a Brookline Toy Drive Drop Box. Our school's drop box is located outside the office in the main lobby.

Lend a Fan to the School?

Although the weather has cooled off for the time being (thankfully), the school is open to borrowing fans from families that are well marked (so they can be returned). If you have a fan that you can lend to the school, please bring to the school office and make sure it is clearly labeled with your name.

Back-to-School Social 2023 a Success

It was awesome to see so many families come out for our annual Back-to-School Social at Heath last Friday night. We were fortunate that the threat of severe thunderstorms just passed by us so that we could enjoy our time together. It was still hot and humid, but overall a great evening to hang out together for a bit.

Back-to-School Luncheon for Heath Teachers and Staff 2023

There was great energy at the school this past Thursday for the Back-to-School Luncheon for Heath Teachers and Staff 2023. A special recognition to the following for their help: Bharati Kochar, Sylvia Eash, Lisa Kang, Aruña Chong Quiroga, Eli Silk and all the families who donated funds and food. It was truly a team effort and teachers and staff were very grateful.
