SRTS Yard Sign Design Contest 2024 Submissions Due

The Massachusetts SRTS Program's Yard Sign Design Contest is a way for students to use their creativity to help promote safe roads for cyclists and pedestrians in their communities. The contest is open to students in grades 2-8.

8th Annual Yard Sign Design Contest
Contest Opens: January 8, 2024
Deadline for Entries: February 23, 2024

Here’s how it works:

  • Students create and submit a design for a yard sign with this year’s theme: BUS STOP SAFETY.
  • Keeping students safe at bus stops is a major concern. We want students to focus their designs on making drivers aware of students around bus stops. Signs in different languages are highly encouraged.
  • Signs may be hand-drawn or created digitally in LANDSCAPE format using a template available in the guidelines document.
  • The four winning designs will be made into yard signs for distribution to SRTS partner schools around the Commonwealth (see winning designs from previous years).

To submit, have your student follow these guidelines and draw their design directly on this template. Make sure to share your submission with us, so we can be informed about all of our school's submissions and help you get the required school representative signature.
