Tickets are still available for Bountiful Brookline’s first “Dirt Ball” on Sunday, April 1, 2012.
The high-value, lighthearted event will be held 5-8 p.m. rain or shine under the tent at 11 Goodwin Place, Brookline Village. This fundraiser will support Bountiful Brookline’s programs for local food and gardening. Enjoy dirty cocktails and specialties from The Fireplace, La Morra, Washington Square Tavern, Lineage, Clear Flour Bread and other Brookline restaurants while dancing to the dirty blues with The Frank Morey Band. Terrific raffles, silent auction, garden games with prizes and more will make this evening a memorable Spring Into Gardening experience.
Bountiful Brookline promotes food production in Brookline in both private and public spaces. Proceeds from the “Dirt Ball” support our mission to inspire, educate and explore local food and gardening. Programs include: growing produce for the Brookline Emergency Food Pantry, garden education and development, garden sharing, internships and more.
Tickets at $40/member or $45/non-member may be purchased at www.bountifulbrookline.org or at the event. Purchase tickets before the event to be entered into an exclusive raffle! Annual memberships may also be purchased for $20. Membership provides discounts to local merchants including Allandale Farm, Brookline Booksmith, Economy Hardware and Cleveland Circle Hardware.
