Heath Directory 2017-2018

Welcome to the 2017-2018 Enhanced Heath Student Online Directory, the secure solution for all your Heath family communication needs!

Please login at https://secure.heathpto.org and check out the updated features:

  • New class lists with the same parent/contact information you entered last year (and the ability to edit your spouse’s contact information)
  • Ability to find students by parents’ name
  • Room parents can now email their entire classes with the click of a button
  • Easy volunteer sign-ups for all PTO committees
  • Customized family calendars based on events specific to your children

Please read the following instructions for NEW and RETURNING FAMILIES pertaining to our student directory information and 2017-18 class lists.

NEW FAMILIES: 

  • The Brookline School District does not provide class lists to families.
  • As a result, children of Heath families will not be included in published class lists UNLESS their parents log in to the secure and password protected Heath PTO online directory.
  • Parents are strongly encouraged to OPT-IN to the Heath PTO online directory as it is Heath School’s ONLY student directory.
  • ONLY parents who OPT-IN will be able to list their child as a member of his/her class and receive school related PTO communications throughout the year.
  • Parents can OPT-IN to receive school related communications WITHOUT making their family’s contact information available to other Heath families if they choose not to share their information.

Please follow the instructions below to OPT-IN to the Heath PTO Online directory: 

  1. Go to www.heathpto.org
  2. Click on the upper right tab: “Directory”
  3. Click on the link: “New families click here to register your family in the PTO Directory”
  4. Enter your email address
  5. Enter the registration code: ‘CHESTNUT’
  6. Click on ‘next’ to begin the registration process
  7. Fill out the required fields on the registration form and click on “register”
  8. The school office will validate your registration information and email you a password enabling you to log in to the Heath PTO online directory

RETURNING FAMILIES:

  • Many of you have an existing Heath PTO online directory account.
  • If you do not, please follow the instructions that appear above for new families to OPT-IN.
  • For families with an existing account who have children in grades Pre-K – 6, you must take action to assign your child(ren) to the correct class list for the 2017-18 school year.
  • Please do this when you receive an email from the principal with your child’s class assignment. This will enable your children to reach out to new and existing classmates over the Summer.
  • Once you have placed your children in their appropriate classes, remember to return to the homepage, and click on “Volunteer” to select your interests for the 2016-17 school year!

**Please note: 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are listed by grade (not class) so no action is required by parents of 6th, 7th and 8th graders.**

Please follow the instructions below to place your PreK-5th grade child(ren) in their appropriate classes:

  1. Go to http://secure.heathpto.org
  2. Log in with your email address and password
  3. You will see the name(s) of your child(ren) and the link next to each child, labeled ‘Select Class’
  4. Click on the link and select your child’s class
  5. If you make a mistake, simply click on the class name and you will be able to select another class

To add a new child to an existing account:

  1. Go to http://secure.heathpto.org
  2. Log in with your email address and password
  3. Click on ‘Add Child” on your home page
  4. Select the class your child has been assigned to
  5. On the class page, click on ‘Add New Student’ and enter your child’s information

  • The Heath PTO online directory is the only student information available to Heath families and its accuracy depends on the quality of your input.
  • The Heath PTO online directory’s information is password protected and only available to Heath families who OPT-IN.

***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HEATH PTO ONLINE DIRECTORY IS DIFFERENT FROM THE ASPEN PARENT PORTAL, WHICH HAS INFORMATION THAT THE TOWN MAINTAINS ***
