Scenes from Peace Crane Workshop, Friday, December 15

Last year students in Brookline folded over one thousand paper cranes and sent them to Washington D.C. as a message for peace and tolerance on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The origami peace crane is a symbol of hope and healing during challenging times.  In light of everything that has been happening in the world, as well as in our own community, it is vital that we continue this tradition, to spread a message of peace and tolerance on Friday, Dec 15th, in a town-wide day of unity.
If you are unable to stay to fold cranes on Friday, we will have origami paper available for you to take home.  We will be collecting cranes in the lobby until Friday, January 5th.
