As you know, the funds raised from the Annual Appeal support the bulk of the PTO’s budget. The PTO Budget helps to enrich our children’s academic and extracurricular experiences at Heath. On average, the PTO budget provides $200 worth of support per student and helps to:
– Subsidize field trips, Heath community events and clubs/ activities
– Replace aging technology and recreational equipment
– Fund teacher-initiated grants
Though all of our children benefit from these programs, last year only 46% contributed to the Heath Annual Appeal. This year, we aim to have at least 80% families participate to show our community’s commitment to Heath. Every donation – no matter the amount – represents a gesture of support for our school. No amount is too small (or too large!). In considering your donation, please remember that the PTO spends, on average, $200 per student per year. Please give what you can today.
